Asana Lab
Asana Lab are monthly workshops dedicated to deconstructing the asanas of your choice. In each Asana Lab, we'll dive deep into the anatomy, alignment, and technique of selected asanas. We will break down key misunderstandings, work through common stumbling stones, and explore how to skillfully integrate props to enhance your experience. Whether arm balances, standing asanas, backbends or forward folds - any asana question is welcome. Ideal for both experienced yogis and newcomers, these sessions offer valuable insights that cater to all levels of practice.
-
Unlike regular Vinyasa and Jivamukti classes, which are typically taught in a more structured, instructor-led format, Asana Lab is a workshop designed to allow plenty of time for interaction, questions, and personalized feedback about the asanas you are most struggling with.
-
Nothing different to any regular yoga class. However, take some time beforehand to reflect on the asanas you find most challenging or have questions about.
-
The goal of this workshop is to explore and refine asanas that are often overlooked or not thoroughly addressed in regular class settings. This may include arm balances, backbends, or inversions. If you are a complete beginner, it’s recommended to start with a Yoga Basics or Fundamentals of Vinyasa course to gain an introduction to the most common yoga poses.
